Kamchatka - the land of volcanoes

11 days / 10 nights

We invite you to experience unforgettable impressions and to enjoy the originality of Kamchatka nature, visiting the places located not far from each other, but absolutely different in landscape, flora and fauna. You will climb three active volcanoes Mutnovsky, Gorely (Burnt) and Awacha located not far from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. You will visit curative mineral hot springs not far from the volcanoes where you are to have a rest. You will cross the Central Range of Kamchatka peninsula by boats. It is planned in our tour excursion around the capital of the peninsula - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city, with visiting of a local lore museum and 3 hour you will be floating around Awacha bay by a boat. Besides you have a chance to visit the Valley of Geysers (at desire, for an additional fee). We wish you happy travelling together with us!
All ascensions are not hard even for tourists with poor physical training and for elderly tourists.

 

Day 1 Departure from Moscow to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy by plane.
Day 2 Arrival to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. Transfer to hotel (RUS 3* or EDELVEYS 3*). Evening at leisure.
Day 3 Breakfast at hotel. City sightseeing tour. Excursion to OZERKI base, swimming in hot termal water.
Day 4 Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Mutnovskiy voulkano. Excursion to Small Geyzer Valley. Othernight at Paratunlka tourist base.
Day 5 Day at Paratunka tourist base. Swimming in thermal water. Evening - visiting traditional koryak's house - made of deer leather. Tasting the national cuisine - seafoods, fish, deer. Folk songs and dances arount the fire. Othernight at Paratunka base.
Day 6 Departure to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. Excursion to the Pacific Ocean coast. Overnight at hotel (RUS 3* or EDELVEYS 3*).
Day 7 Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Avachinskiy volcano and Koryakskiy volcano.
Day 8 Breakfast at hotel. Helicopter excursion to the Geizer Valley.
Day 9 Breakfast at hotel. Scooter excursion to Avachinskaya harbor. Fishing.
Day 10 Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure.
Day 11 Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport. Departure flight to Moscow.

The cost of this program is 4872 EURO p.p. in a double room for group of 6 pax. The price includes flight Moscow – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy - Moscow, accommodation at hotel 3* at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy in DBL rooms, BB basis, transfers, excursions and meals according the program, guide services.
Accommodation at tourist base in Paratunka in wooden cabins, toilet and shower are in the rooms.

A new eruption of the Avachinskiy Volcano begins.
 

Cone 1. During eruption a powerful jet ejects more then 500 tons per second of basaltic volcanic bombs, cinder and ash.

A night-time sight of the first growing cone of the Tolbachik eruption. The cone reached a height of 300 m above the initial fissure over a period of four weeks.
